Sales are handled by Paddle, acting as Merchant of Record: your purchase contract and invoice are with Paddle, which collects the taxes applicable in your country.
PBToolboxAI is a library of visual and non-visual components for PowerBuilder, delivered as a DLL, a PowerBuilder library and sample sources. These terms govern its purchase and use.
The licence is perpetual. It takes two complementary forms: a named dev key for each developer working in the PowerBuilder IDE, and a runtime key in your company's name, embedded in the applications you ship.
Your end customers enter no key and activate nothing, and you owe no deployment royalty: the number of machines your application runs on is irrelevant.
Your key carries a maintenance end date. Any version of the library released during that period stays unlocked forever, including after expiry. A version released after it requires a renewal. Applications you have already shipped are never affected: they embed the version they have always used.
Embedding the library in your own applications is the intended use and needs no permission. It is not allowed, however, to resell, redistribute or publish the library itself, its keys or its sources as a competing component, library or SDK; to share one dev key between several developers; or to circumvent the licence check.
Delivery is electronic and immediate: as soon as payment is confirmed you receive your licence key and download link by e-mail, at the address given at purchase. Nothing physical is shipped.
Four components — statictext, messagebox, toaster, webbrowser — run with no key and no time limit. Every other component runs in demo mode, with a badge and documented limits. The library can therefore be evaluated in full before any purchase.
The library is provided as is. During your maintenance period the publisher undertakes to fix reproducible defects reported to him. His liability cannot exceed the amount actually paid for the licence concerned. Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory rights granted to consumers by law.
Refund terms are on the dedicated page, and the handling of your data in the privacy policy. These terms are governed by French law; the French version prevails.
